Location
The Rijnsburgstraat is located in a part of the south of Amsterdam where time has almost stood still. Because of the style of architecture the neighbourhood used to be known as “het Belgische buurtje”, which means: the Belgian district. Right around the corner is one of Amsterdam’s most charming little parks, the former cemetery “Te Vraag”. Named after the inn that was there in the middle ages, where travellers could ask for directions to the city of Amsterdam (back then the city wasn’t comprised of much more than the canal belt).
Right around the corner of the Hoofddorpplein, which offers all the amenities, a 5 minute bike ride from the Vondelpark, 10 minutes from the Zuidas and the beautiful nature reserve De Oeverlanden and within two minutes you are on the A10.
